When Nana's family found me, they made a deal. They thought that I would be perfect for Nana so they made a swap for me. They decided that they wanted me to live with Nana so they decided to call me "For Sale".
It was a trick to get Nana to come and get me.
But Kayla decided that "For Sale" was not a nice name so she looked it up on the Internet and called me "Venalicis" which is Latin for "For Sale". Kayla is pretty and smart. So her brothers called me Venny but Nana's Other Daughter did not like that so Kayla and her brothers decided to call me Bailey.
I like Bailey.
Nana says that I have to have ANOTHER name! Because my Dad was Prince Maxwell Charming and my Mom was Lady's Brindee, I am supposed to have a fancy name. Nana says that Laird Venalicis Quo Vadis Bailicus is good. That is a long name so we will see.
This is the story of Bailey, a Golden Retriever who lives in Arizona and works as the Canine in a Professional Partnership in doing therapy for humans. He has a Good Citizen medal and a BIG heart and a WISE brain. Bailey wears the turquoise neckerchief of a canine assisted therapy dog with a royal blue patch. The patch reminds humans that he is a highly trained and a valuable member of a therapeutic team.

How I came to be...
This is a special story. I lived in Utah at the house where I was born. People came to see if I could live with them, that I was a "Good Fit". 3 times they said "Yes!" and then brought me back. No one knows why.
Finally my person's family came and they said "Yes! Yes!" and I went to live with them. They had 5 children and 3 dogs. One of the dogs, Mia, was very silly but very pretty. She got to stay inside all the time. The other 2 dogs were big and stayed outside where they got to play all day.
Because I was a puppy, sometimes I stayed inside and sometimes I played outside. But 4 dogs is a lot of dogs so my family called their Nana.
Nana is my person now. She came and got me. I had never been in a car before. I was surprised to meet Todd the Shih Tzu. He was a road warrior and taught me how to be a good road dog. So long as I stayed on my side of the back seat, Todd was nice.
I would like to drive this car.
