Nana's friend Brenda lives far away.  She has her own mountain and her address is "To the Chalet, next to the cow pasture." 

Maybe when I am an International Therapy Dog, I can go see the cows too!  Love you Brenda!

Todd. Again.

Todd does not share and I am not happy about that.  He drinks out of MY dish but I can't drink out of his dish.  He also has little teeth and he has a hard time chewing big stuff so Nana put gravy on Todd's dinner.  He didn't share.

And I waited.  All I wanted was to lick the bowl but OH NO!  No, I could starve to death here.

HELP!  Send GRAVY.  To Nana with my name on it.

Workin' dog.

I was helping Nana clean the playroom.  We had a tea party and I helped her.  See?

I put the dishes on the floor with my tail so Nana can pick them up easier.

Then Nana said that I could go rest and she would pick up the other dishes.  I was so tired.  After I was done and Nana was done (she takes longer than me), this is what the playroom looked like:

I went back to school...

And this is what I did...

I learned to walk in circles to the left.  This is a Very Big Thing because I don't like Left.  Nana can't remember her lefts and her rights so if I do this right, I will get a treat.  And Nana won't look so silly with her thumb out pointing > and her pointer finger going ^

This is my teacher Ms. Jan helping Felix jump and go up and down the teeter totter.  He is a big show off. That is not nice to say because we haven't met nose - to - nose yet.  I am sorry.

I have lots of friends.

I like to watch tv but not when it has a lot of yelling and fighting.  Nana does not approve and turns the tc off.  I like to watch ducks ( like that duck who says afffflack alot) and sheep.  I like to watch balls - all kinds.  But I really like to watch other dogs.  Then I know which ones to look for to make friends.  I would never want to mix up a cat with a dog.  Todd is an ewok but I know he is also a dog.

Here is a picture of my new friend Danny Boy.  Even though he is German, he is also Irish and I have heard it said that he sings very nicely.  He is also friends with Dr. Oler.  We love Dr. Oler.

Did you SEE the white stuff???

It is March here in the High Desert.  It is supposed to be Spring and warm and sunny.  But I looked out the window and what did I see????

SNOW!  I remember snow.  Its like a white blanket that falls out of the sky onto the ground and everything is white and you can slide and jump and whoop it up.  Christine let me play in it...

AND then I found out that Cue and Liric played in the snow too! 

This is Cue.....oh Cue...how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways... I love the furry face and the furry tufts coming out of your ears.

I do believe that this is Liric.  Snow.  Yup snow in Arizona.

Guess who didn't play in the snow?  You are right!  Todd does not like to get his paws wet.

Did you miss me?

Nana has been gone because someone special got married so she LEFT ME and Todd.  This was a VERY SAD THING and I was UPSET so I was naughty and had an accident in my doggy sitter's shoes. I am sorry...that was a Very Bad Thing To Do.

So I just want to say that I am sorry and I love you Christine and Timmy and I won't do that again and if I do, Nana says and Grandpa says that you get new shoes.

Todd

Todd is the Big Boss Dog.  I do what he says cause he's the boss.  He is known in the "hood as da tough guy in da neighborhood.  He don do nunthin he don wanna do.

He gots da teeth and his sleathy like a panther. 

Its real hard to get da guy's face 'cause he's wanted, ya know?  So di was after he was all dun up by the foxes at the Furs A Flyin.  Da foxes lets him choces his own fur and den they can sneak outa town and he's flyin.  Masters of disguise.  Mistresses of the Spyway.

 
Muggsy got the face.  First time on record and the RCMP are going be coming... So there HE is! THE ONE, THE ONLY Todd da Bruiser straight from his last gig at the playroom, and the retreat in Nana's bedroom.  I am going to go finish off his dog food, so hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee's Bailey The Great, signing off, So long, Good night and Good luck.

I can see Things.

I have a water bowl and a food bowl.  I have Todd's water and food bowl, when I can get away with it.  But I watch over my bowls...Todd doesn't care.  Unless he catches me.  Hehee

So watch this:

I thought it got out.  Its moving so its someBody.  I am trying to intimidate it with that Look that Nana uses when someone does not do what she wants fast.  Slintty eyes.  Crouch down and YAP. 

I am still watching it.  I can see it move.  I don't like this.  My bowl is not a swimming pool.

Nana is standing over there and she is laughing.  Go ahead Nana!  You laugh all you want because I am going to jump on this bowl and snatch that swimming thing out.


See:  There are no more pictures here.  I jumped and now Nana is not laughing anymore.  She is washing the floor and I am laughing.  Ha ha Too Bad Nana.

Do you know a Baileyism?

A Baileyism is something that I do like making Nana or Grandpa laugh.  'Specially Nana cause she is a softie. 

She got into the tub this morning.  Nana said "no Bailey" so I went and got into the other tub but no one came to turn on the water.  Grandpa said, "Out! Bailey".  I got out.  Nana laughed.

Nana used a whole bunch of Boarshead honey maple ham to teach me to go "round".  Its a cute trick and makes her smile so I do it for her once in a while.  Then it was treat time.  Todd got his bone.  I got mine.  I ate mine.  Todd carried his around for a while and put it down.  I asked if I could have it but Todd didn't answer.  So I got up and circled him and sat down.  Nice trick.  Can I please have it now?
I took it.  Nana laughed.

She catches me all the time. 
Me and The Boy are getting some sympathy.  We are behind bars.


It was super windy when I got home but Grandpa needs his exercise so Nana says I have to help so I took Grandpa outside.
I let Grandpa throw pinecones because they are lighter for his arm.  If you ask him though, you will get a different story.

You have to admit, grandpa can throw a very long ways...


I worked off some of my steam.  Oh yeah I was cranky.  I can tell you.  Todd.  Just look:

That is MY dogfood.  MY water dish and no ONE is doing anything about it!  NANA!!!!!!

Idecided to be gracious about it.  Besides I am within 8 inches of his dog food.  But Nana said I can't eat Todd's dog food.  So I am just going to pretend it is not happening.  I know Nana has more.

Nevertheless, it is a good plan to keep an eye on the old fellow just in case he leaves me any!

HELP!!! HELP!!!! Starving DOG STARVING GOOD...no...GREAT DOG NEEDS food.  Bring it to the Doggie Foodbank.  Don't forget ice cream!
