It started out a ordinary, beautiful day. We (the Royal We, as in Nana) was going to get her nails done. I don't know what nails done but I know what it means to me and Todd. We got stuck in the car.
YEAH! Grandpa, look what happens when you are not home!!!!
So. Me and the Shortie decided to take the car, commonly known as Buttercup and hot rod around town, cruzin' and smoothin' our way up 179, maybe even get to Flagstaff. Checking out the girls. So we did.
I sat in the front driver's seat because I can a) see over the steering wheel and b) I can reach the pedals. Shorty objected to that but he is blind and so we finally agreed that I would drive.
We barely made it out of the parking lot when Nana noticed and bam! Boom! Badaboom! We lost custody of the keys and we got separated. Todd is in the front and I got sent to the back seat.
It woulda been so fun.
Heeheeee...For a minute, this old dude thought we were on the road....He was laughin so hard we finally pointed out the closest hydrant. Sheesh. A little Class here please. It IS a Lexus afterall.
