This is the story of Bailey, a Golden Retriever who lives in Arizona and works as the Canine in a Professional Partnership in doing therapy for humans. He has a Good Citizen medal and a BIG heart and a WISE brain. Bailey wears the turquoise neckerchief of a canine assisted therapy dog with a royal blue patch. The patch reminds humans that he is a highly trained and a valuable member of a therapeutic team.

Yesterday I went to Dr. Wendy's Vet Hospital. I love Dr. Wendy...well, I did until yesterday. It was a VERY SPECIAL DAY because it was the day that Dr. Wendy examined me from nose to tale...errr, um, tail.
I am very long. And I weigh 109 pounds. I lost 2 pounds because Nana took my food away so that Dr. Wendy could do tests on me. I was there ALL DAY with the cats. I thought I was going to die.
But I was brave and did my job (except the pee part because I don't like people watching me so...well, Nana said we don't have to talk about THAT). Now Dr. Wendy will send all my information to the Golden Retriever Study.
They are very smart, these studiers of Goldens, and already they have found new ways to treat cancer.
Yeah for me! Yeah for them! Please remember to tell all the Golden Retrievers you know to sign up.
Thank you.
